Keisha Conigliaro started her modeling career in the Bahamas after competing in various beauty pageants. Her success in the Bahamas made her realized that she needed the exposure only the United States could offer.
At the age of 17, Keisha packed her bags and moved to Florida. Her tall thin frame made her an ideal model. She got her break when a professional photographer in Boston viewed her portfolio and offered to be Keisha’s agent and promote her in the Northeast. Keisha embarked on a very successful modeling career and traveled extensively for over 8 years. Her experience included modeling on the runway and high fashion shoots for various agencies.
When Keisha finished her modeling career, she realized the need for more personalized training.
Desiring to give back to aspiring models some of her knowledge of the modeling industry, she set out to help young men and women avoid the notorious modeling school scams.
Keisha is dedicated to helping young boys and girls. Keisha is also a mentor to students at Horace Mann School in Salem, MA. This fall, Mrs. Conigliaro will be volunteering her time and lecturing at Girls Inc. of Lynn.
In the summer 2010, Keisha will be teaching a looking good/feeling
good program for teens at North Shore Adult Learning Center.
She is a graduate of Marian Court College with her Associates in Medical Office Administration, Keisha is also a Certified Fitness Trainer and is currently majoring in fitness and nutrition at Salem State University.
Keisha started La Chic Modeling & Charm School in 2007. Serving
young boys, girls and adults. The courses consist of instruction on modeling, self-esteem, confidence peer pressure, interpersonal skills, building better relationships, etiquette, fashion, posture, eating disorders and proper hygiene.
Mrs. Conigliaro is also studying to become a licensed social worker. She feels that social work provides the difference with dealing with diverse people and understanding the issues of our times. Keisha has helped her clients feel better about themselves, and gain confidence to become better people along their path to success.
